Hydra Facial in Makati: What Is Inside the Hour and What It Costs
A hydra facial cleans, exfoliates and pulls debris out of the pores with a vortex of water and suction, then pushes serum back into the skin in the same pass. It is the facial people book before an event because nothing about it shows the next morning except the skin.
Two different things are sold under the name. HydraFacial is a trademarked device made by one company. Hydradermabrasion is the category, and many machines do the same job under other names. Both can give a good result. Ask which one a clinic is using before you compare prices, including us.

What a session is like
The consultation looks at your skin in good light and asks what you use at home. Bring the names of your products.
Sixty minutes on the bed. It feels cool and a little like a suction massage. No needles and no heat.
Makeup can go back on the same day, though most people leave it off to see the result. Sunscreen before you step back onto Makati Avenue.
When this is the wrong treatment
Active, inflamed acne
Suction over angry breakouts spreads inflammation. Acne gets its own protocol first.
Melasma as the main complaint
A hydra facial brightens the surface and does nothing for melasma. That needs a different plan and we will move you to it.
Sunburn or a fresh chemical peel
Skin that is already irritated will react. We reschedule.
How it actually works
Cleanse and soften
A first pass lifts oil, sunscreen and the day off the skin. In a Makati office week that layer is thicker than people expect, and everything after it works better once it is gone.
Exfoliate and extract
Gentle acid solutions loosen dead cells, then the suction tip draws out what sits in the pores. The skin feels a pull, not a scrape, which is why this suits skin that reacts to manual extraction.
Infuse

How often should I get a hydra facial?
Around once a month, which follows how long your skin takes to renew. More often than that adds little.
Is there downtime?
None for most people. Some skin looks faintly pink for an hour.
Is a hydra facial good before an event?
It is one of the few treatments that is. Book it two to three days before, not the same morning.
