Facials in Makati: Which Facial Your Skin Needs, and What It Costs
Most facial menus in Makati list twenty names and leave you to guess. The honest version is shorter. A facial does one of four jobs: it clears congested skin, it puts water back into dehydrated skin, it calms and supports skin that is starting to lose firmness, or it prepares skin for something stronger.
Pick by what your skin is doing this month, not by the name on the menu. Oily and blocked needs a different hour from dull and tight, and the wrong facial is a pleasant sixty minutes that changes nothing.
Everything below runs in one room off the lobby of The Peninsula Manila, four minutes on foot from Ayala Avenue.
What a session is like
The consultation starts with what your skin is doing now and what you already use. Bring the products or photograph the labels.
Sixty minutes. Cleanse, the steps your facial needs, a calming finish and sunscreen.
Most people go back to work the same afternoon. Leave strong acids and retinoids alone for two days afterwards.
When this is the wrong treatment
Sagging and loss of jawline
No facial lifts. That is a HIFU or radiofrequency conversation.
Cystic acne
Deep painful breakouts need a dermatologist and usually medication before any facial.
Melasma
Facials do not reach it and heat-based steps can make it worse. It has its own protocol.
How it actually works
Congested, oily, blackheads
A deep-cleansing facial with extraction and oil control. This climate keeps oil production high all year, and a monthly clear-out keeps pores from refilling faster than they empty.
Dull, dehydrated, tight after air-conditioning
A hydra facial. Office air-conditioning dries skin even when the street outside is humid, and hydration shows the same day.
Early lines, skin losing its bounce
An LED facial. Red light supports collagen over a course of visits. It is maintenance, and it will not lift anything.
Breakouts, pigment or melasma
Not a general facial. Acne, brown spots and melasma each have their own treatment, and a facial aimed at them wastes months.
What it costs in Makati, 2026
At list price, our facials run from ₱7,900 for the ten-step InTENsify hydra facial to ₱9,990 for the 3-in-1 LED facial, each sixty minutes. Introductory rates run through most of the year, so ask for today's.
A facial is worth its price when it is the right one. The cheapest mistake is booking the facial you liked the sound of instead of the one your skin needs.
Five questions to ask any clinic, including us
Which of my skin's problems is this facial for?
If the answer is all of them, it is for none of them in particular.
Do you extract, and how?
Careful extraction clears congestion. Aggressive extraction on inflamed skin leaves marks. Ask before the day.
How often should I come back?
About every four weeks, which follows your skin's renewal cycle. A clinic pushing weekly facials is selling visits.
What should I change at home?
Sunscreen every morning and a cleanser that suits your skin type. The facial lasts longer when the routine does its share.
These are the list prices. We run promotions through most of the year, so call or message for today's rate and for course pricing. The consultation is free either way.
